Amid a period of upheaval in the Central Bucks School District, planning for grade level realignment and full-day kindergarten is still moving forward, district interim superintendent Jim Scanlon said during a recent public meeting.

Central Bucks School Board has appointed Jim Scanlon to the role of acting superintendent for six months, amid the Republican minority’s concern he was being overpaid.

Next week, the Central Bucks School Board is expected to appoint veteran administrator Jim Scanlon to the role of interim superintendent, as the search for Abram Lucabaugh’s successor continues.
